ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a pioneer in global payments technology, has entered a strategic partnership with BitPay, the leading cryptocurrency payments processor. The collaboration aims to enhance digital asset solutions for merchants and payment service providers (PSPs) through ACI’s Payments Orchestration Platform.

Nearly 55% of global retailers are evaluating cryptocurrency acceptance as part of their payment strategies, according to a joint study by ACI Worldwide and Payments Dive. The integration with BitPay enables ACI’s platform to seamlessly manage digital currencies, including stablecoins, alongside traditional payment rails.

Merchants and PSPs can now leverage BitPay’s platform for secure cryptocurrency transactions, including peer-to-peer payments and mobile point-of-sale applications. Adriana Iordan, Global Head of Merchant at ACI Worldwide, emphasized the partnership’s role in advancing digital currency innovation.
